Track and Trace

How can we help?

It says accepted but I don't recognise the postcode or address

Royal Mail have introduced improved tracking capability for Special Delivery, Recorded Signed For, International Sign For and Airsure. Up to now the first track was when the item posted reached a mail centre. Now the first track will be an acceptance scan when a customer pays for the service at a Post Office branch therefore the address you are seeing refers to the Post Office Branch that you have visited to post  your item and not the destination address. Both sender and recipient will be able to access the acceptance scan to track items by visiting www.royalmail.com/trackandtrace. If posting outside of the UK, customers and overseas recipients can also access the tracking data via the Royal Mail website.

For Special Delivery, once the item has progressed from the Post Office branch, you will then be able to see updates as normal via the Track Trace website.

Recorded Signed For and International Signed For remain signature services and do not offer full tracking.  Once your item has been delivered/attempted for delivery, you will then see the item status as per normal.
